		<description>Good, thoughtful blog - as ever! Maybe this is something that should be forwarded to the London mayoral candidates! Rather than scrapping bendy-buses or re-introducing Routemaster conductors - a la Boris Johnson - maybe money should be spent helping transport staff in general understand their behaviour better. 9 times out of 10 I've found it's the antagonistic/negative attitudes of transport officials - however understandable - that makes travel more stressful than it need be...</description>

		<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree totally that we have a choice how we respond to situations.  It can be, as you say, the flick of a mental switch.&lt;br /&gt;
But without that initial awareness, how can you get someone to realise that they are in control, especially when they've gotten into the habit of negative thinking, which can be hard to break? Any ideas as to how you can open this discussion would be helpful.&lt;/p&gt;
