Helen
A lovely thoughts and absolutely right. No quicker way to depress yourself than watch the news. It is freezing hard here in Dorset but looking out of my now gleaming tidy office window across the Purbeck Hills I pity all my ex colleagues commuting daily. I am watching goldfinches, a nuthatch and countless variety of tits on the feeder outside my window.Great to be focusing on the important things in life
Keep up the good work. I hope we get to work together in 09 and in the meantime have ordered the book. G

Hi Helen, I like the good sense in your blog. The Einstein quote.rightly says that you can't solve a problem from the place that you created it. How do we get our politicians to step back and involve us in some fresh creative thinking? Why cannot the government, as well as bailing out the banks, lend mortgage repayments directly to the mortgagee until house prices rise and restore value once more. Leonardo di Vinci said ' go some distance away and the work appears in proportion' .We need time to step back, gain a fresh perspective and think our way out of this crisis. I hope the values are then based on sustainable living rather than credit bubbles that burst.

Hello Helen!! Splendid if I may say so. Modern Physics tells us that we are all connected by a ' web' of energy and that it's impossible to have even a thought without a ripple effect elsewhere in the universe. Just imagine what all this negative ' media muttering' is doing to our shared energy field!! It would perhaps help if we recognised the difference between ' My Life' and ' My Life Situation'. The subtlety here being obvious!! I have to own to a conviction ,that this is a very positive and potentially creative time in our history. We have long needed a ' disk clean up' so don't let's grumble but put the shoulder to the proverbial plough and get on with it!! Like all medecine...tastes better with a smile!! Jil
